Am
I really sure of my soul's salvation? This should
be the most important question we could ever ask ourselves.
First, and foremost, we praise God
for your being here at our website. You are not here by accident,
coincidence, or chance...you are here by the awesome Providence of God.
You are here, because you are meant to be.
If you were
to die today, do you know for certain that you would go to heaven?
Many people are positive that they
are saved. They base this on emotions. They may make certain
comments, such as;
I
am a good person. |
 |
I
do what is right. |
I’m not as bad as that person. |
I
had an experience with God. |
I
feel that I am saved. |
I can feel God is with me. |
I
know the Holy Spirit is inside of me. |
I
am a preacher, an elder, a prophet, or a preacher’s wife.
|
I
have prayed, and God answered my prayer. |
I
believe in God. |
While all of this sounds very nice,
it is not based upon biblical knowledge and truth. Many that are now
in hell have said such things. The Pharisees in the New Testament also
could have said many of these things, but Jesus showed them clearly they were
not saved.
God has a
plan of Salvation for your life. It’s a plan He designed for you.
He wants to save you from Hell and prepare you for Heaven.

Journey
through Gods Word - Unless specified
otherwise, all scripture references are from the King James Version {KJV} of the
Bible.
- God's Love is revealed – John 3:16 - For God so
loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- God loved all of His creation…a creation which had
fallen so deeply into sin and depravation that only a true Savior could
redeem it.
- Such a love as this is unparalleled in all of
humanity.
- God was moved through His
compassion and love so much so that He allowed the sacrifice of His son,
a son sent not for wrath, but instead to redeem all of mankind by taking
upon Himself the ugliness and certain death of sin… in order to grant
you and I the right to a life unfettered by its hold.
- We’ve all sinned – Romans 3:23 - For all have
sinned, and come short of the glory of God
- We have all sinned, and have the ability to sin
again. We can’t, nor should we ever rest in the sense that we are
“above sin” and the trappings of its ugliness. Consequently, we are all
equally helpless and guilty in some regard. God is no respecter of
persons {ref Acts 10:34}.
- We all fall short of His Glory….or
His Praise.
- Mankind was created in the image of
God, sinless and for His Glory. Until sin took a foothold in our lives
through Adam & Eve, we were in fact capable of enjoying the fullness of
His Glory… Now through sin, by which we are all capable; the Glory of
God, the mark for which we all should aim, eludes us. While we walk in
our unrepentant sins, we shall always fall short of His Glory…or Praise.

His Purpose
Jesus Christ came to earth in the
form of man to pay a debt that He did not owe...for a people who could never,
ever pay themselves.
The crucifixion of our Lord and
Saviour Jesus
Christ was a brutal, horrible affair. He was tortured, mocked and spat
upon through the night. After which, He was forced to carry the
implementation of His death most of the way on His grueling trek to Calvary where
nails were driven through His hands and feet, where His torn, bloody flesh was placed against a filthy, dirty wooden cross, where the people
still mocked, jeered and applauded His pain...to the point of "daring Him" to come down if He were the Son of God.
And where His friends, disciples and
those who had cheered His arrival just a few days earlier...stood as well.
Just for a moment...imagine His
thoughts...!
Today, when our society is fervent
about "legislating" God out of existence...we have so easily forgotten
that...All of this was done for you and me.
"Greater love hath no man than this..."

A Prayer for Salvation
Heavenly Father, I come to You
in the Name of Jesus.
Your Word says, "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved". I am calling on You.
I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over my life. I confess that Jesus is Lord,
and I believe in my heart that He bore my sins, was crucified, and raised from the dead
after three days. I ask you to forgive my sins, and renew your
Spirit within me. I commit my being to your will.
I now believe, and confess that I am now reborn!
I am a Christian - a child of Almighty God!
I am
saved!
If you
prayed that prayer and meant it...you are saved.
Praise God....
"I call heaven and earth to
record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death,
blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may
live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, [and] that thou mayest
obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he [is] thy life,
and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the
LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give
them."
Deuteronomy 30:19-20

Now What...?
